Actually, Bill, much of America is waking up because of BO! It may not be as noticeable in CA, but in Texas it's electrical! I'm an active TEA Party member, and everyone I've talked to at these events say the same thing as me, "If someone had told me a couple of years ago that I'd be out in the street with posters & protesting, I'd have told them they were nuts!" I didn't do it in the 60's, but I am NOW!

Yeah, I think this is bullcrap too. Just take cars off the roads, reduce electricity consumption, encourage buying hybrid cars, eat local food, or something! Painting roofs white won't do much good.
