START Treaty? What Are They Hiding?

As the senate ponders the START Treaty, I find I have more questions than answers.  For instance, why are they pushing its ratification during the lame duck session?  This in itself is unprecedented in American history.  Is it because they are afraid the incoming congress, come January, might look too closely at it?  Why won't the administration release their notes & transcripts from the negotiations?  All treaty negotiating sessions have always been released to the congress in the past so they could make informed votes on treaties.  What has BO & company got to hide?  Does anyone doubt that this administration is weak on foreign affairs?

"Medvedev craved the appearance of Russia on the superpower stage with America, and he wanted a treaty to lock in U.S. parity with Russia's plan to draw down and modernize its strategic force. By agreeing so readily, we squandered our bargaining leverage to induce Moscow to negotiate over its massive tactical nuclear arsenal and to remove multiple independently targeted re-entry vehicles (MIRVs) from its land-based ICBMs."

Please call your senators and congressman and ask that until they're notes on negotiations are released that they NOT vote on this scary treaty.  Let's not allow them to weaken America further by ratifying this questionable treaty.
