Right Wing Warning....From Homeland Security
"The DHS/Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) has no specific
information that domestic rightwing* terrorists are currently planning acts of violence,
but rightwing extremists may be gaining new recruits by playing on their fears about
several emergent issues. The economic downturn and the election of the first
African American president present unique drivers for rightwing radicalization and
recruitment.
— (U//LES) Threats from white supremacist and violent antigovernment groups
during 2009 have been largely rhetorical and have not indicated plans to carry
out violent acts. Nevertheless, the consequences of a prolonged economic
downturn—including real estate foreclosures, unemployment, and an inability
to obtain credit—could create a fertile recruiting environment for rightwing
extremists and even result in confrontations between such groups and
government authorities similar to those in the past.
— (U//LES) Rightwing extremists have capitalized on the election of the first
African American president, and are focusing their efforts to recruit new
members, mobilize existing supporters, and broaden their scope and appeal
through propaganda, but they have not yet turned to attack planning."
As so many of us said prior to the election, we were not against a black man as president, if it were someone like Michael Steele, or Ken Blackwell, but the new homeland security secretary, Janet Napolitano, doesn't get that part us US! They have always been the racists. They thought that black folks were inferior, which is why they enacted laws to lower standards, and called them "equality" laws. Now they are trying to put us into the same category as Timothy McVey, who was trained by Islamofacists (which Clintonistas did not want anyone to know about....ever wonder why he was put to death so quickly? How many murderers languish on death row for years, but not Timmy!)
(U//FOUO) The current economic and political climate has some similarities to the
1990s when rightwing extremism experienced a resurgence fueled largely by an
economic recession, criticism about the outsourcing of jobs, and the perceived threat to
U.S. power and sovereignty by other foreign powers.
— (U//FOUO) During the 1990s, these issues contributed to the growth in the
number of domestic rightwing terrorist and extremist groups and an increase in
violent acts targeting government facilities, law enforcement officers, banks,
and infrastructure sectors.
— (U//FOUO) Growth of these groups subsided in reaction to increased
government scrutiny as a result of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing and
disrupted plots, improvements in the economy, and the continued U.S. standing
as the preeminent world power.
(U//FOUO) The possible passage of new restrictions on firearms and the return of
military veterans facing significant challenges reintegrating into their communities
could lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups or lone wolf extremists
capable of carrying out violent attacks.
* (U) Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and
adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups),
and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or
rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a
single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.
So what are they trying to do with this "warning'? They are trying to separate Americans. They don't understand that both Democrats and Republicans are sick and tired of they way they are wasting our money, putting us all into the poor house, and keeping our children and grandchildren in slavery to their irresponsible spending! Come Tax Day, those of you who are attending Tea Parties, make sure there are not those among you, closet ACORN types, trying to make a fuss, or inciting you to rash behavior. We cannot allow the left wingers currently in charge of our government to shut us up! We Surround Them!

Can you substantiate this information with secondary source reference? I have been all over the DHS website with searches on all of the key words and phrases, and although I find many FOUO documents, I can't find one that is this document. Additionally, every .pdf file I find from the DHS website does not contain a lock or password on the document as does the .pdf file from which this post originates. Frankly, this kind of rhetoric damages the conservative movement and should be exposed. Here are problems I have with the doc.
2. Searches on the key words of the title of the document turned up no related documents on the DHS website
3. The word “rightwing” is spelled incorrectly; the proper spelling is right wing or right-wing
There are no documents on the DHS website that refer to anything "rightwing" or "right wing", and for that matter, nothing for "leftwing" or "left wing" either, except on blog post by someone at DHS.
I think we need to be very careful when we perpetrate things like this; it only serves to add fuel to the fire of the left liberal establishment.

Kelly, in case you are tracking this, I wanted to let you know that you can find substantiation here; http://michellemalkin.com/2009/04/14/confirme-the-obama-dhs-hit-job-on-conservatives-is-real/
If that is not sufficient for you, then nothing will be sufficient for you.

It was leaked to Roger Hedgecock, former mayor of San Diego & "recovering" attorney, a very trustworthy source. Not only trustworthy, but predictable from such as Janet Napolitano. It will probably be withdrawn, as was the last such "leak" from DHS was withdrawn when seen by the light of day. Shine a light on it, and like all shadowy apparitions, it will disappear.

This targeting of Americans under the profiling of "right-wing extremists" is absolutely repulsive and needs to be retracted. With 48% of the population having voted for John McCain, this demonizes half the US population - which is likely the intent of the authors? This is the equivalent of racial profiling of blacks or the profiling people of middle-eastern origin. This action is something I'd expected from Mao Zedong not the United States of America - and I'm outraged.
Someone needs to be fired over this.

All of us who are going to participate in Tea Parties tomorrow should be outraged, as are you and I, but as for someone being fired for it; it would not have seen the light of day had not BO, POTUS, approved it, so firing is unlikely. Retraction? Possible. Rolling of proverbial heads will not happen.
