San Antonio Tea Party

We learned last night on the Glenn Beck program that he was planning to attend the April 15th San Antonio Tea Party .  Today on his radio show we learned he was going to be broadcasting his TV show from in front of the Alamo.  Now I have to explain to all who are unfamiliar with San Antonio's Fiesta that Glenn's coup was nothing short of a miracle!  Fiesta is two solid weeks of partying and totally takes over downtown San Antonio!  Organizers of our Tea Party wanted to hold it there, but due to Fiesta were unable to push it through.  Where they failed, Glenn succeeded!

We will be bringing a brigade of laptops to the event to gather names & e-mail addresses of attendees.  This event will not be a "culmination", rather it will be an on-going effort to rein in the unbelievable spending and socialist take-overs of our private sector!  Whether it be "card check" which threatens even our small businesses with union take-overs, to the take over of the census by BO for use in his redistricting efforts, America (at least TEXAS) is waking up to what the in-power folks are doing to our beloved country!

This effort has energized me, it has given me hope in spite of the hopelessness springing forth from the dolts in D.C.  Here are some of the suggestions I am going to take with me to put on posters to the Poster Party we're having tomorrow:

"Don't Take My Wealth, Spread My Work Ethic" (already on my poster!)

"Politicians Are Like Diapers, They Need To Be Changed Often And For The Same Reason"

"I Worked (I'm retired) Hard For What I Have, And I Will Share It As I See Fit"

"We Surround Them"

"Raise "Logic" & "Reason" From The Dead"

"The Government Works For WE THE PEOPLE"

"Honesty, Personal Responsibility, And Hard Work Are What Built America!  Not The Government"

If you have some suggestions, I hope you'll leave them in the comments section.

I saw that one on a little girl's poster, and it was the cutest thing. Right to the point, eh? I'm having one myself out here in Long Beach. I just have to have it confirmed before I can advertize it. These people sure do not like getting back in touch with me. lol

Why don't you e-mail me and I'll send some pics I have along with some sites that are doing a fantastic job of helping us. Lot's of luv and hugz!
