Rejoice vs. Worried

You may be wondering what those two words have in common; in the case of Israel, quite a lot!  In fact, they were the first two words that came to my mind when I saw this headline

"There would be great unease" at the prospect of such a government, said one Capitol Hill source.

He predicted that a governing coalition of parties from the Right could embolden the left flank of the Democratic party and turn up pressure, particularly in the US Congress, to pass measures that made clear demands on Israel."

The recent  Israeli elections sent conservatives into the leadership in Israel.  Should Binyamin (Benjamin) Netanyahu take over the PM office, BO's administration will not be rejoicing, as would the Bush administration were it still in office.  As an avid supporter of Israel, I rejoiced.  As they say, "Elections have consequences."  I pray to God that the consequences do not come at the expense of the country my Savior was born in, died in, and rose again; Israel.

Hi DagneyT, I trust all is well with you and yours.

These are dark days for Israel, what with Iran on the verge of getting the bomb. Obama in the White House is scary too as I fear he will do nothing to stop what is coming. I feel we are in the calm before the storm.

As such, it's good that they have Netanyahu at the helm.
