I've always wondered why Democrats were so enthusiastic about raising taxes, but thanks to Geithner and Daschle, I now understand. 

"Daschle, the former Senate Democratic leader, expressed his remorse in a letter to the Finance Committee, saying he was "deeply embarrassed and disappointed" about what he said was an unintentional failure to pay taxes that he owed. He recently filed amended returns for 2005-07 to report $128,203 in back taxes and $11,964 in interest."

Why worry about raising taxes if you don't pay them?



If I asked you who said, "It would be irresponsible to chose another policy, which would increase our country's indebtedness without having more infrastructure and increased competitiveness in the end,", I am pretty sure you would agree it could not be POTUS BO, right?  But would you be surprised if I told you it was the Prime Minister of France?  No, really!  Can we borrow some of that??  We could sure use some common sense in America.
