They're On Our Side...For Now

It has been said, "Politics makes for strange bedfellows".  Never more than in the case of this blog.  The "HillBuzz" blog is, in the absence of Shrillary Clinton, a McCain supporting blog!  How's that for a shocker?  These are dyed-in-the-wool Democrats who are furious over the defeat of the Clinton machine by this upstart Obama.

This blog post was very funny, in that it has revealed what everyone in the GOP has known at least since the JFK election; Democrats cheat.  Never in my life did I expect that THEY would be pointing it out with the headline "Happy Halloween!  The dead are voting Democrat in Florida!"

"VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Thousands of dead Floridians are registered to vote and some in Central Florida had ballots cast in their names long after their deaths.

“That is scary,” said Jim Branch.

Branch’s mother Marjorie died in 2004 but someone voted for her in 2006. Branch had tried to get his mother removed from the voter rolls.

“It was much easier for me calling Social Security and taking her off not getting any more checks here, than it was that (voter registration),” he sid.
County records show James Santiago voted in the 2006 general election. He too, was dead. His wife, Joann, sees this as an open invitation for voter fraud."

We know these are the same people we'll have to face when Shrillary runs against Sarah in 2012, so we might as well enjoy them being on our side....for now.

2012 seems lightyears away. I can take help now from where ever it comes. If these people are sincere, then we can live with what a "new" democratic party may be once they have learned to disassociate themselves from the hateful moveon.org crowd that has permeated since 2000. We can disagree with our political rivals, but the moveon.org crowd goes beyond disagreement, they venture into a world that is not American, or democratic, or good for the world. I never thought I would have looked forward to a Hillary Clinton presidency, but that to me looks a million times better than a Barack Obama one.
