I am in Philadelphia, and sooooo enjoying the 1st Annual Saturday Morning In America Convention.  We had a day full of tributes to our troops, past, present, wounded & those who gave the final measure.  We sang fun songs Dr. Bill would so dearly love, and those songs all Americans get teary eyed over!  We shared ideas about what we could do to return the nation of America to the standards our founding fathers intended.  One of the greatest ideas I heard today...and there were a plethora of great ones, was to send a drill bit to Nancy Pelosi's and Harry Reid's office. 

"For the first time in a while, House Republicans are on the offense on an issue of national importance: removing obstacles to the production of more American energy.

House Appropriations Committee Chairman David Obey abruptly shut down his committee indefinitely rather than allow Republicans to offer an amendment to open more areas to drilling for new sources of oil and natural gas. Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid concur. According to the New York Times, she and Reid “appear intent on holding the line against calls to approve drilling in areas now off limits.”

Let's fill their offices with drill bits.  I know hubby has some rusty dull ones in his shop, they will be in the mail shortly after I get home! 

In the meantime, I think I'm going to buy me one of these bumper stickers.
