UDS (Uribe Derangement Syndrome), was the Liberation of the Hostages a Fake?

To the anti-Uribe gang, the glorious liberation of the hostages on Friday was, as Hugo Chavez put it, like getting hit with a bucket of cold water. The stunned silence has, predictably, given way to a seething denial. The international Left is now declaring the rescue was a sham, political cover for a secret ransom payment; or even more bizarre, a staged event to give the FARC a face saving way to hand over the prisoners. The aim is to strip the Colombian military, and especially Uribe, of their rightful moment of basking in the glory. There's no point taking such pathologies too seriously, if the Uribe haters were susceptible to reason then they wouldn't be anti-Uribe in the first place. But those of good will who still doubt the capabilities of the Colombians should be advised the Colombian Special Forces have won the "Fuerzas Comando" contest, an event for elite soldiers of the Americas, the past 3 years running, besting even the magnificent US Special Forces overall. They're like the knuckles in Uribe's pimp hand.

This video was released by the Colombian Government as a proof that the accusations of the rescue being a fake are totally false. You can see in the beginning how the cameraman is trying to get the FARC's commander trust by repeating the same words you can find in leftist blogs and wearing Che Guevara t-shirts. You can also tell how pissed off Ingrid looks, as well as soldier Malagon who's trying to talk to the camera saying "I've been chained during 10 years, I'm a soldier of the glorious Colombian Army" he gets really mad because the cameraman tells him they cannot take his declaration.   At the end they are told they are free, you can tell their happiness, the soldier says "Thanks dude! 10 years we've been waiting for the Army, 10 years!"
