A Special Family Needs Your Help

I hope you had a great Independence Day!  Mine was peaceful, which after my trip to Israel was just what I needed.  Some of you may remember that I work with OIF veterans hospitalized at BAMC here in San Antonio.  There is one special veteran, an El Salvadoran Special Forces soldier who has undergone countless surgeries trying to save his leg who needs your helpSoldiers Angels were able to bring Armando's family to America, but because his income is so meager, they have little money for their needs.  If all you can afford is $5.00, it will help.  ">Any amount you can donate at the website will be greatly appreciated.  [Your donation, or other donations will not show up anytime soon at the website, because the webmaster is off on vacation.]

As soon as I get over my upset with having my digital camera stolen my last day in Jerusalem, with over 600 pictures of my trip in it, I will get back to regular posting.  In the meantime, I'm hoping my new co-blogger will add her own Colombian color.
