Memorial Day Tribute

I just hugged and kissed two heroes, and sent them on their way.  One is an Afghani & Iraqi veteran, the other is a Desert Storm veteran.  Both would not call themselves heroes, but they are nonetheless.  The percentage of the American population who DO NOT volunteer to put their lives on the line for their country hovers somewhere between 96% & 98%.  So my point would be; those who DO put their lives on the line for their country are HEROES, whether they like the appellation or not!

With that thought in mind, I want to give my thanks to all of my heroes, including Jaime, Paul, Matt, Armando, Ray, Adrian, Dennis, Bernie, and Jamie (just to name a few), and dedicate the following to y'all and your fellow heroes who I've been blessed with not having met yet.  [I say "blessed", folks, because those heroes I tend to meet have been injured on the battlefield.  Those I've not met, are blessed to be in good health.]

Join me in paying tribute to these heroes, from all of America's history.

    Great post Dagney!
Paul jumped out of his chair when he realized you were talking about him "I'm not at hero, Jaime certainly is, I just went there to serve my Country, that's it... “Nevertheless, I agree with you, he and all of those whom have the cojones to put their lives on the line to defend our freedom deserve to be called heroes, and ought to get a big hug and a THANK YOU
