It is difficult to understand how this woman got into a leadership role in our government!  Power Line has a word for word reply to a rare pointed question at a press conference.  How the reporter was allowed to get this question out is a mystery, and her rambling ridiculous answer shows how totally out of touch she is with the real problems & answers needed by Americans spending more on gasoline than any other time!  The only time she relates, is when she is relaying what others have told her of their experience.  Her final closing of the answer illustrates my reason for embarrassment;

"So, again, it has to be calibrated in - it doesn't mean that we are - that there should be an endless increase in the price of gasoline to change behavior so that we have fewer emissions. There are other ways to have fewer emissions than to price people out of the market of going to work or going to the hospital."

So what does that mean?  Everything the left has done, refusing drilling for our own oil, not allowing offshore drilling, handcuffing oil companies with regulations, not allowing new refineries to be built has exacerbated our current high prices.  They are tying our hands in energy!  No nuclear power plants, yet their buddies in France get 80% of their energy from nuclear power! 

I keep hearing that the Democrats are going to grow their majority in the House & Senate come November.  What really embarrasses me, is that my fellow Americans would vote for Democrats after looking at the last four years of Democrat majorities & leadership!  What have they accomplished?  Not a doggone thing!  Remember what they promised?  What have they delivered?  Higher food and gas prices is what they have given us with their policies.  What sane people burn their food supply?  Democrats thought ethanol was going to clean the air, yet it has not proven to be clean-burning.  What it has done is burn our food supply & raise our food prices!  Wake up, America.  Throw the bums out come November!
