Another unfortunate GOP fund raiser made the mistake of calling me.  My response to him was not what he'd hoped to hear;

GOP guy: "Hello Mrs.....?"

Me:  "Yes"

GOP guy:  "Ma'am, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid are trying to stop our conservative agenda.  Are you keeping up with the election coverage?"

Me:  "I'm a political blogger, what's your guess?"

GOP guy:  [chuckles]  "I see, Ma'am.  Then you know...."

Me:  [interrupting] "What I know is that you folks are in a fix of your own making!  If the legislators had voted like conservatives, Pelosi and Reid would not be in offices with leadership ability to stop the conservative agenda!  We lost control of the House & Senate due to Democrats bringing in conservative Dems who out-conservatived the not-so-conservative Republican.  You brought this one on yourselves."

GOP guy:  [trying to get a word in edgewise, unsuccessfully]

Me:  "In fact, you guys are wasting donated money making ads against Obama, when anyone with a brain knows that Shrillary is more likely going to end up with the nomination!  Why waste money when they don't even have a nominee?  Hubby and I have made the decision to donate only to real conservative candidates, and to their individual campaigns!  So take me off the list!"  [click]

It may be awhile before the poor guy has the guts to make another call.
