Newt, You're Smarter Than This!

Like many conservatives, Newt's cooperation with the left has been frustrating, to say the least.  His most recent foray into moonbat-land is this commercial with Nancy Pelosi;

Newt, I cannot believe you are climbing into bed with the global warming freaks! I know you know the facts on man's part in global warming. I know you are very able to argue against the ridiculous stance the left is making with regard to this hype. Instead, you crawl into bed with them in this commercial!<br><br> On your website, you have this; "Newt Gingrich: I want to start by saying that I believe we need an entrepreneurial, science and technology oriented approach to the environment, and that most Americans agree with that. If you go to our Web site, and pull up the Platform of the American People, you will see that a majority of Democrats, independents, and Republicans all agree that entrepreneurs can do more than bureaucrats to solve environmental challenges. ________________________ Newt Gingrich: I think the tragedy has been that conservatives have been unwilling to spend the time and energy to debate the left on which will produce the better outcome. For example, if you are really worried about carbon loading of the atmosphere...if the United States produced the same percentage of our electricity from nuclear power as the French, we would take 2.2 billion tons of carbon out of the atmosphere a year, and that one step would be 15 percent better than the total Kyoto goal for the U.S. "<br><br> No debate?  You suggest "no debate" from our side, yet you are the one NOT DEBATING!  How about asking them "Why is the temperature on Mars going up?", or "Did you know 2007 was the coldest year in....?" I'm so frustrated with your reluctance to use your logic and powers of deduction to disabuse the left of their ridiculous notions and ideas to take more dollars out of our pockets, that this post is going to look screwed up! But oh well.

There.  I've ranted.  See, I can rant at the right as well as the left!
