It Must Suck To Be A Democrat
“If it (the nomination process) goes into the convention, don’t be surprised if someone different is at the top of the ticket,” Mahoney said.
A compromise candidate could be someone such as former vice president Al Gore, Mahoney said last week during a meeting with this news organization’s editorial board.
If either Clinton or Obama suggested to a deadlocked convention a ticket of Gore-Clinton or Gore-Obama, the Democratic Party would accept it, Mahoney said.
Mahoney, who is one of the superdelegates who gets to cast a vote at the convention, hasn’t endorsed a candidate. He said he doesn’t intend to endorse anyone because “I don’t see it as my job as a district representative” to endorse a nominee for the presidential race."
This solution would not surprise me at all. If Shrillary goes into Denver with super-delegates in her pocket, and takes the nomination away from Obama in spite of his superior numbers of delegates won, not to mention votes, all hell will break loose. It could permanently render the Democrat party irrelevant. If we hear this same sentiment coming from other Democrats, we will know it is a growing sentiment and therefore a real possibility.

She can't take this to the convention, can she? It can't be good for her career to bring down the party. Someone has to be bought off, SCOTUS?

Rancher, I do not doubt for a single second that she will not do just exactly that...this woman has been living for this since she adopted Saul Alinksy's advice to liberals to take power any way you can, even if it is through appearing to "fit in" with the general populace! She doesn't care a hoot about the Democrat party. She wants to be back in the White House any way she can get there...even if it means tearing her "party" to shreds.
