Still No Evidence Of What It Takes To Win!
"The RNC has notified the Tennessee GOP that they do not support or agree with their approach," said this source, requesting anonymity to discuss the private conversation between a staffer in the national committee's political department and a top aide at the state party. "If they don't refrain from doing so again, they will be publicly repudiated by the Republican National Committee."
This source said the national committee did not ask the Tennessee party to retract their statement, but effectively put them on notice for the future. "
So what was the awful terrible transgression the Tennessee GOP did? They used Sen. Obama's real name, Barack Hussein Obama, in a press release! It is this kind of woosie PC behavior that lost them the last election, and apparently they have not learned their lesson! My biggest fear is that this same cowardly behavior will lose us the White House in November!
Meanwhile over in the donkey corral, you would have sworn that Shrillary had just won the final nominee pick of donkeys, and felt it was time to pick her VP choice. What is really funny about it is that she only gained 12 delegates for her 3 state "sweep"! It's going to be fun to sit back and watch from now until their convention in Denver. It's going to begin the cat scratching down & dirty time. I know none of us puts anything past the Clinton machine, so it could get ugly for the capital of my birth state. Back room deals, smoke-filled room strategizing...oh, right! Forgot. She outlawed smoking in the White House...which is why Slick Willie employed cigars for other uses.
History tells us that brokered conventions do not bode well for the party who must face one. The last time there was a brokered convention for the Democraps was in 1952. Adlai Stevenson lost that one to Eisenhower. The last time for the GOP was in 1976. Gerald Ford lost to Jimmy Carter. In fact the last time a candidate from a brokered convention won was back in the 30's. [Thank you, Henry!] If history is any witness, it may not look as bleak for McCain as some would have us believe.

Wow. Indeed, this is just more concrete evidence that the RNC is really far out of touch with people. I stopped supporting the RNC a couple years ago. And I was an official Life Member of the RNC.
