More Funny Business In Democrat-Land & Some Not-So-Funny

It seems Mrs. Clinton's adopted state of New York may be trying to short change her opponent

"Unofficial primary results gave Obama no votes in nearly 80 districts, including Harlem's 94th and other historically black areas - but many of those initial tallies proved to be wildly off the mark, the Board of Elections confirmed.

Truth is, in some districts getting a recount, the senator from Illinois is even close to defeating Hillary Clinton."

This is just too fun to watch!  I've been a successfully recovered Democrap for over 20 years, so it is loads more fun to watch from this side of the aisle!  First he has ZERO votes, and now he may beat her in her own state?

"Some initial tallies had zeros, but it was most likely due to human error. Those were unofficial numbers, and no confirmed results have been released yet."

In a predominantly black Brooklyn district for which Clinton was given credit for a 118-0 victory on Primary Night, the Board of Elections' latest figures indicate that she may not even come out the winner - Obama currently has 116 votes to her 118."

This could be depressing, since I think it would be way easier to beat the wicked witch formerly of the west wing than it would be to beat he who makes women swoon.  For now, though, I have to admit it is so much fun to watch!

While I can laugh at the funny business of the donkey-eared ones in the presidential race, Nancy Pelosi refusing to allow the FISA renewal to be voted on before it expired is not even close to being funny.  Before I got out of bed this morning, I wondered what sorts of headlines I would see.  Hopefully no building blown up, or car bombs had gone off in American streets overnight.  Our intelligence is flying blind because the Dumocraps' buddies, the trial lawyers, want to be able to sue the phone companies who have been cooperating with the government surveillance on terror suspects.  As the President in his Saturday address pointed out;

"The Senate sent this bill to the House for its approval. It was clear that if given a vote, the bill would have passed the House with a bipartisan majority. I made every effort to work with the House to secure passage of this law. I even offered to delay my trip to Africa if we could come together and enact a good bill. But House leaders refused to let the bill come to a vote. Instead, the House held partisan votes that do nothing to keep our country safer. House leaders chose politics over protecting the country — and our country is at greater risk as a result.

House leaders have no excuse for this failure. They knew all along that this deadline was approaching, because they set it themselves. My administration will take every step within our power to minimize the damage caused by the House’s irresponsible behavior. Yet it is still urgent that Congress act. The Senate has shown the way by approving a good, bipartisan bill. The House must pass that bill as soon as they return to Washington from their latest recess.

At this moment, somewhere in the world, terrorists are planning a new attack on America. And Congress has no higher responsibility than ensuring we have the tools to stop them."

That our nation's security is being used by the Democrats for political gain is beyond irresponsible.  It should infuriate every mom, dad, AMERICAN, regardless of your political persuasion!  Keep this in mind when you go to the polls in November.  Our congressional votes are equally as important as our presidential votes.  If your Democrat congressman announced his support of the FISA bill, then by all means vote for him or her, but so long as the Democrats hold a majority in the house, we will have this sort of do nothing behavior by their leadership for political gain.

These so-called leaders are not being public servants, they are holding the America public hostage for their own power.

I know this not to be true in your case, but it is so fitting I thought I would say it anyway...You finally noticed?! This has been going on for more years than I've been alive. Shame on us for electing them over and over and over again. Yes, I'm referring to conservatives as well. They need to serve their 6 years and get the heck out of office. It was never meant to be a full-time career. I sometimes wonder if our founders are rolling over in their graves. Is this what they sacrificed for? NO!

    Dagney,

All these self serving elitists of both parties turn my gut.

BTW, finished Atlas Shrugged last week. I had wanted to read it for the past 15 years but never had the time. Too busy raising a family. Now reading Anthem.

Rand's work is scarily prophetic. When I think of Jim Taggert, I think about a lot of elitist liberals. When I think about the washington characters in shrugged, I think about the Clinton Machine.

May God/Allah help us. Overall political trends point to the demise of the American Ideal.

It may be a good idea to hoard some gold, ammo, seeds and find a hideout.

    Salaam eleikum!
