Sorry, I grew up in SoCal, and I was not so much offended by her use of a word used in every other sentence in some segments of our society....especially in SoCal, but her inference about where she lives....what offended me was her denigrating reference to the South.
“I live in Georgia, okay,” Fonda said as she explained while she had initially tuned down the role in the play. “I was asked to do a monologue called ‘C—-.’ I said, ‘I don't think so. I've got enough problems,’”
I grew up in Southern California, I know how the south and southerners in general are denigrated in and by Hollywierd. I swore for many years I would NEVER live in the south, because I was led to believe that every white person in the south was a racist. Now that I live here, it's like any other myth taught to me by the drive-by media, it is a lie. To adopt a SoCal vernacular, a "f'ing lie"! So there ya go, Hanoi Jane. You are a liar again, and this time in our own country!
