Live blogging the GOP debates...insofar as I want to do so...(yawn)...Huckabee challenged on his protractor Chuck Norris' comment regarding McCain's debate was met with a check by McCain's 92 year old mom, and checkmated by his endorsement from Stallone. Norris vs. Stallone, bets anyone?
Bottom line, the entire affair is a giggle fest, or is it just my disinterest? Just bade company adieu, and am only half hearing the give and take. Huckabee just avowed a "core" as being his faith. I cannot argue, it's my core as well...but why am I not feeling good about his candidacy?
Also, when Ron Paul speaks, I listen. I hear. I understand. I agree...on many things. Not on his hair-brained idea to immediately withdraw our troops in the Middle East, South Korea, Germany, Italy & UK. Excuse me, Paul peeps, but where in he!! are you going to send all these military personnel? Oh, and while I'm at it Mr. Paul, what economic impact will that withdrawal make on their local economy? Also, what will that impact have on our own economy? I don't think this whack job has thought out his positions regarding the military, and how it makes us look to our enemies in the Islamofacist world.

I think a lot of us yearn for the good old days when we were not the world's super power. Problems seemed easier to solve in those days. That's probably why Ron Paul wants our military home. We all do but I believe in the manifest destiny of our country and it is our lot to have our men scattered all over the globe. We say prayers for them daily, we grieve with their families and we support our veterns. I pray for the next president to be a man who can handle our complex problems and who may be able -at last- to bring our men home. IMHO, I believe that man to be Mitt Romney. He is not of the Establishment and he has solved major issues in the field of economics inter-nationally. God willing that I am not mistaken.
