Democrats Putting The Troops In Harms Way
Nasty Pelosi and company are putting our troops in harms way, in the most sinister and sneaky way you can possibly imagine! This is a travesty! Thank you to Duncan Hunter for sounding the alarm via Rush Limbaugh. Rep. Hunter faxed Rush during his show today, and Rush has made it available to non 24/7 members. Go read it, PULEEEEEZ! Then go write, call, annoy your representative and senator to stop this unbelievable danger to our troops.
If you're too lazy to peruse it, here's the thumbnail sketch of the result of this legislation...actually I'll go you one better and illustrate it with this story:
"BAGHDAD (Reuters) - U.S. forces backed by aircraft killed 25 suspected insurgents in operations targeting al Qaeda near the Iraqi capital Baghdad, the U.S. military said on Thursday.
What that bill would do, if God forbid it becomes law, is to put a 15 day "review" to see if any force coming from out of country is basically up to the task/prepared. Under the guise of "readiness concerns", they would STOP any outside of Iraq U. S. Military from entering the country!!!! Since most of the air support units come from Kuwait (according to my air force connections), and a fighting unit on the ground needs to call in support like the example above, they'd be SOL! FIFTEEN DAYS BEFORE HELP COULD ARRIVE??????????????? The soldiers in the above story would be TOAST! Got that? What is wrong with these people????????? I am soooooooo disgusted with the party of my parents!

The whole "mission capable" thing is a big joke. The reality is that they'll set the standards so that if any vehicle, for example, has a problem, they'll declare the unit unfit. The Dems don't have the courage to come out and try and pull the troops out, so they play these games.
My own damn senator, James Webb, is behind this proposal or a very similar one. He's a dope.

This is one of the reasons I have been backing Duncan Hunter from the beginning. I pray, God, that these so-called front runners have the cahones to use this against these rats. If we lose the WH, we not only lose the war on terror, we lose our sovereignty and our lives. Thanks a lot, bill and hill.

George Bush and his greedy cronies put the troops in harms way by putting them in Iraq. They where sent there not foster freedom and democracy, as Washington says, but to gain control of the Middle East. If anyone in D.C. wanted a free and democratic Iraq, would we be building a massive embassy in Baghdad and planning for a permanent presence in the country? The only reason for these things is to have control. The war has been on for four years now, so wake-up!

Gene, how has Bush benefited from the invasion of Iraq and toppling of Saddam Hussein? Are your gas prices any lower? Has he taken over the vast oil resources there?
Or have Iraqis gained from our enterprise in Iraq? I suggest you ask Mohammed and Omar at ITM how they feel about what we've done in Iraq!

The Bush Administration put our troops in harms way by giving a multi-billion dollar contract to Halliburton. They where charged with the task of delivering water to the troops but instead provided CONTAMINATED water to our men and women in uniform and then tried to cover it up. How's that for supporting our troops? The Administration has been taking the political heat for this war but their associates in the oil and defense industries have profited to the tune of billions of dollars. Is it any coincidence that Cheney use to be CEO of Halliburton?

As usual with you BDS infected lefties; you cannot answer any question straight up. Instead you come up with another "conspiracy theory" like contaminated water. FYI, since I deal with returning OIF veterans regularly, the troops get bottled water. As for Halliburton, the Clinton administration had just as many contracts with Halliburton as the Bush administration...and that was WHILE Cheney was CEO. Pelosi's and Feinstein's husbands companies both have no bid contract with DoD. Stop reading the Daily Kook blogs, and get some therapy so you can start thinking straight!

Look at the history of Halliburton and its predecessor Brown and Root and see how it's been a Democrat shill, starting way back in 1937 by installing Lyndon Johnson in Congress and continuing all the way up through "special favors" Clinton gave them.
This crap about Cheny is exactly that with the added twist of being Democrats hiding their own dirty laundry.
(Aside to Dagney: Dagney wouldn't rant, she'd say "Get the HELL out of my way!!" )
