Algore Is Having A Good Day

From the moment I turned on the radio this morning, to the primetime news hour this evening, the lead story is Algore's capturing of the coveted Nobel Peace Prize.  I'm still puzzling why the prize is coveted?  Rush Limbaugh says "they can never take away my nomination" for said prize.  He's right, as usual, but perhaps it's who has nominated you for it that really counts.

Let's take a look at previous nomineesand recipients;

Nominees; this should-be-illustrious list includes Stalin and Hitler.

Nobel Laureates; this actual list includes Yassar Arafat and Jimmie Carter.

As a Rush Republican, I would be embarrassed for Rush if he'd actually been awarded the prize.

    Am I missing your point here? An interesting history lesson, if there is no further point.
