They Don't Care...We Won't Care In '08
This is the list I want my conservative readers to memorize:
Republicans Yes
Bennett, Utah; Bond, Mo.; Brownback, Kan.; Burr, N.C.; Coleman, Minn.; Collins, Maine; Craig, Idaho; Domenici, N.M.; Ensign, Nev.; Graham, S.C.; Gregg, N.H.; Hagel, Neb.; Kyl, Ariz.; Lott, Miss.; Lugar, Ind.; Martinez, Fla.; McCain, Ariz.; McConnell, Ky.; Murkowski, Alaska; Snowe, Maine; Specter, Pa.; Stevens, Alaska; Voinovich, Ohio; Warner, Va.
They will give you a "song and dance", and a "duck duck, goose goose" load of bull pucky, like one senator tried to do on Sean Hannity's progam today (I don't have the transcript, so I will not name him), but this bill is still alive because of the weasels named above.
I don't know what kind of "behind closed door" deals were hammered out before this vote, and are being discussed now. What I do know is that whatever party affiliations you have, you should be concerned that the people we vote into office to be our voices are ignoring our vociferously voiced 80% opposition to this AMNESTY bill!
We cannot back down, we still have work to do, folks. Get your anti-amnesty speech ready, and DIAL! E-MAIL! Keep the heat up! You might also want to call your senators who seem to "get it". SC Senator Jim DeMint, TX Senator John Cornyn are among those who actually acted as our VOICE. Call them and thank them.

Dear Dagney, We did it again! Today is Thu. the 28, and they failed to get cloture. We also shut down their switchboards by calling. lol. Their unfairness doctrine will not pass mustard with the scotus, so don't worry too much. I know it's a pain where we sit, but we can fight that, too.
