President Bush, you came into office pledging to be a uniter, not a divider.  For most of the seven years you 've been in office you've been a victim of the Bush Derangement Syndrome, and the great divide has been growing wider until now. 

“If you want to scare the American people, what you say is the bill’s an amnesty bill,” Mr. Bush said this afternoon at a training center for border enforcement agents located in this town in Georgia’s southeastern corner. “That’s empty political rhetoric, trying to frighten our citizens.”

I'm sorry Sir, your warning to the people who got you elected twice was greeted with antipathy and rage.  Our voices are not empty rhetoric.  We are FURIOUS!

The good news?  You have brought the left and the right together in opposition to this bill that would give so-called "z" visas readily...why the hell would they bother to want to go home, pay the fines, and go through the channels to become citizens, and at the end of the line of the legal applicants? Translation:  AMNESTY!  What else can you call it?  Why should they bother to become a citizen?  They don't give a damn about America except to earn money they cannot earn in their own countries! 

Can an already inefficient government bureaucracy prove who were here when?  Was it since January?  Before January?  Of what year?  Give me a break!  Once this bill is signed, 12-20 million people are legal.  Okay, not citizens, but legal.  And they will avail themselves as tax paying citizens of all of our social services...AND bring their families from their native countries to help to send America into bankruptcy!  Adding insult to injury, your amnesty bill...whatever you want to call it...will bring in another 12-20 MILLIONS (not including family members to come later) aliens looking for a "z" visa.  some of them are probably al Qaeda trained!  Yeah, that too.  Did you forget that component? It's not just your Mexicano pals who want to come here.

Here's a suggestion;  I've yet to hear anyone who thinks an all out deportation of all illegals is a workable idea.  So how about lets look at some logical solutions.  First; outlaw the "sanctuary city" laws.  Second; when an illegal gets stopped for whatever legal infringement, and it is established that they are here illegally, deport him/her.  Silly question here; the Ft. Dix six were stopped/detained 75 (?) times.  Why were they not deported?  hmmmm?  Silly me, expecting logic to intervene when it is so easy to call those of us who want BORDER CONTROL FIRST racists.  Right? 

How dare you say we are too dumb to read this abomination of a bill?  Do you think our memory is so short that we won't remember how you climbed into bed with Teddy Kennedy on "No Child Left Behind" where you sold out the voucher system so that there is no learning in public schools, only teaching to the test so that the public school can get tax dollars?  Thanks, George.  That was successful, right?  Have you looked at the rise of home schooling in your own state since that stupid NCLB became law?  For most of us conservatives, the very fact that Teddy (hic) Kennedy is singing your praises is enough to hold the immigration law suspect, without ever reading it, after that fiasco!

I will give you credit, Mr. Bush.  You have brought the country together. Democrats and Republicans both think this bill STINKS!
