A Civil War? Yes, right here in America!

Though Harry Reid and the rest of the braying donks insist America should not be involved in Iraq because of the "civil war"...yep, the same civil war Iraqis are saying is not real, there is evidence that the real "un"civil war is actually going on in the west.

The mean-stream media, a.k.a. the drive-by media has worked hard to create this un-civil war in America, and throughout Europe, between right and left, Republican and Democrat, liberal/socialists & conservatives and most importantly; right from wrong.  Not only is there an UN "civil war" here throughout the west, but it seems it is a growing schism in many western countries.  This is a good thing, in my estimation, where the EU is concerned.  The EU has been so long separated from God, from Christianity, and even hostile to Judaism, it is good to hear/read that they are re-thinking their lefty WRONG thinking.

That Sarkozy won in the French election today does not surprise me, it does however give me faith that the western world is having a pendulum swing in the RIGHT direction.  Chancellor Merkel of Germany is another clue that the EU part of the world may be swinging in the direction of the Lord, our God.  I do not use this blog often enough to proclaim my beliefs in Jesus's salvation, God's Gift to us.  On this day I must point out all of the evidence that we are moving to God, and away from Satan in our western world.

As my personal witness to the power of God, this week has been a series of emotional ups and downs for me.  One of my two original "Thanksgiving Soldiers" was operated on for a brain tumor last Tuesday.  Jonathan is a medic in the army.  Medics, for those of you not "savvy" to military ways, are Army embeds to any combat unit, be they Marine or Army, etc., who go with the unit into battle to save any life that may need to be saved during battle, both friend and foe.  I remember telling Jonathan and his fellow soldier (whose name escapes me, much to my dismay) who had just finished their medic training, "y'all know they'll call you 'Doc', don't you?"  They knew it...and they looked forward to it.   Jonathan has been to Iraq, and saved his fellow warriors just by doing his job.

Jonathan and his family have made me part of their family since that Thanksgiving of '04.  They all know me as "Thanksgiving Mom".  His aunt contacted me when he was hospitalized, just as she had done when he was deployed to Iraq.  When he was operated on, the doctor could not remove all of the tumor, and had to take some of his brain in the procedure.  We all held our breath and prayed.  The doctor said that we'd "not get Jonathan back" as we knew him.  God prevailed.  The rest of this week, this doctor has marveled as our prayers have brought our Jonathan BACK!

I've known since my oldest son was hospitalized too many times to count, that there is a reason they call what doctors do, a "practice".  Doctors whose hands are guided by God are always a success.  In Jonathan's case, as frequently happens, the doctor was wrong.  I shared with my Bible study group this morning, Jonathan's story as I knew it then.

When I got into my car after church, I noticed that I'd received a voice mail on the mobile [I routinely leave in the car on Sunday].  The call I missed came during Bible study at nearly the same minute that I was sharing Jonathan's story.  It was from his Aunt Tammy.  The pathology report came back, and Jonathan's tumor was the best of all kinds of tumors, if there be such a thing:  BENIGN.  Glory to you, God!  Thank you Lord for answering our prayers!

It is time we returned to our roots in America and all over the western world.  In America, it's time we returned to the God who gave us the greatest country on the planet.  Our divinely inspired constitution has been the target of the left for the past 40 years, and it is time we took our country back to her beginning, to realize that a CIVIL "war" is needed.  Civil, as defined by Webster (NOT wikipedia, who does not recognize "civil" without an addendum), which is, for my purpose here:  "polite; courteous".  This is the way the Lord would want this word to be defined.

Good post! You are correct about the EU. It has been years since I was in Europe or Asia for that matter. As far as the Jews are concerned in Europe. I think, possibly it has something to do with the west was constantly drum beating how many were murdered, but nothing was said about the millions of Polish citizens that were put to death. Also look at the Russians They were brutal to everyone and I dont remember hearing anything about that. As Reagan said and Im paraphrasing, A nation not under God is a nation gone under. We are not far from that in our own country and unfortunately no one is saying anything about it. I asked a clergy if his church had a political actions committee and he said absolutely not if we have a problem we pray about it to be resolved. Well, to me thats fine but when laws are changed without much fanfare that are anti-christian/God. I for one think we should be ever mindful of whats going on around us. God also gave us a mind to use and if it's for his glory and benefiting the Christian Community, do it...

    Dear Tapper,
I must say, you put it very well. It does not matter what we pray if we watch our neighbor starving. Words tend to be meaningless when it is action that is needed. Thank you.
