An Iraqi Talks To Nancy Pelosi
Hameed Abid is one of my favorite commenters at ITM. He lives in UK and is married to a Brit, but his heart still lives in Iraq. Many of ITM's commenters have tried to encourage Hameed to create his own blog, but so far he seems content to elucidate the comments section of ITM. I absolutely adore his message to Pelosi in this post.
"I read that Pelosi is in Israel and will visit Syria. This is admirable and very positive indeed, that she cares. Whilst she is there perhaps she can ask Bashar to show her some of the jails in Syria holding the best dissenting brains in the Country and perhaps she could ask to meet some of the Iraqi refugees being exploited by Syria for propaganda Purposes and being used as cheap labour and being brainwashed and trained to be sent back as terrorists to kill innocent women, children and Elders in their car bombs and their human bombs.
Pelosi you are a joke and totally out of your depth.
How could you visit your country's number one enemy and give it the satisfaction of being rehabilitated?
Do you think they will right themselves and love America after your visit?
I tell you what they will think, here we have another mug trying to be politically correct and let us exploit her differences with her President and to show her she has leadership quality?
Please do not bother as they are told what to do and say by Iran.

As a woman, I find Nancy Pelosi to be an embarrassment to all women. She is so ignorant of what reality is in the ME. Yet she has the opportunity to be so educated about what is going on in the Middle East. How can she refuse to see what is put right in front of her? Bashar al Assad is a nice enough guy...right, San Fran Nan? Is that how you can ignore what his country is doing to undermine our troops? Political posturing is nothing new from the left, but it remains their most traitorous action. (I really wanted to say "traitorous trait"...but there you go!)

I just blogged on how she was offered surrender terms by Assad. Ms. Pelosi was told that Syria would help the US achieve an "honorable withdrawal" from Iraq but in return the United States must press Israel to return the Golan Heights.

She was there not to be politically correct, but instead was there to visit her friends and allies. Seriously. She absolutely hates Bush. So does Syria. She wants the American military to lose. So does Syria. She wants Bush embarrassed and out of office. So does Syria.
I don't think this was a political move to make her look good; I honestly think it was a meeting of allies and possible planning sessions for future operations against a mutual enemy: America.
