Liberalism Is A Form Of Mental Illness

Liberalism must be a mental illness.  How else would you explain their behavior?  Here's just one example.

“Obviously, when you have a group of people in your office gonging a gong and reading off names it’s somewhat distracting, but it did not disrupt the workflow,” said Marilyn Campbell, Van Hollen’s spokeswoman.

Earlier this week anti-war protesters in Michigan vandalized the district office of Rep. Mike Rogers (R) by splashing red paint on a “Support our Troops” sign and hanging a banner accusing Rogers of having blood on his hands.  "

I mean really, doesn't it look like they need to be in strait jackets?  [hat tip:  Drudge Report

Just one look at the Drudge Report, and it looks like the whole bunch of them has gone off the deep end, and need some time in Rehab!  Take a look at the pictures of the "peace" rally in Portland, Oregon.  They call this "peace"?  Burning a soldier in effigy, while soldiers are protecting their right to act like this!  They have to have gone round the bend!

GOPBloggers found another pocket of them here;

"A group calling itself the RNC Welcoming Committee, a self styled group of left wing anti-everythings, is preparing early for chaotic and disruptive protests at the 2008 Republican National Convention in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota. The group bills itself as an "anarchist/anti-authoritarian organizing body," (isn't that a bit of an oxymoron?) complete with Welcoming, Outreach, and Logistic Committees, and invites anarchists from around the nation to "to show up and make something happen."

While the Democrats in congress realize they are beholdin' to their far left, still they cannot do the courageous thing, and own the actions they really want by defunding the war.  Instead, they are proposing a bill to pay for the war effort....with a few stipulations attached.  [hat tip:  GOP Bloggers]

"It's also about a disgraceful attempt to cut and run from Iraq.

Larding up spending bills has been practiced to perfection for much of our republic's history. It is such a bipartisan addiction that Republicans who'd otherwise oppose any legislation setting a date for a pullout from Iraq are tempted to go against their support for the war on terror and vote for the 172-page war funding bill.

Democrats correctly calculated they could get GOP votes for an Iraq withdrawal just by tempting the Republicans with cash for their constituencies. Anyone who would characterize that as vote-buying would be exactly right.

We clearly remember Democrats during last fall's campaign thundering righteously against Republicans' special-interest spending, as if they had a record of frugality. That drumbeat, as well as the GOP's inability to counter the charges, was in large part responsible for the Democrats' return to power.

Back in power, however, and the Democrats revert to their free-spending ways."

Maybe the Democrat party, that the moonbats believe they have bought and paid for, is driving them around the bend?

Whatever the reason, it seems to be contagious to those in the liberal camp.  Look what it did to Al Gore.

Look at Gore's eyes.  Tell they don't look like a man whose brain is totally scrambled.  This picture reminds me of Jack Nicholson in "The Shining".

    I write a blog on mental health and I am concerned about your comments on mental illness. One in five people live with some form of mental illness - regardless of political stripe. About 99.9999% of these people do not wear straightjackets! Please have some consideration. Thanks.

      Jennifer, I do not do PC (political correctness) on my blog. In fact, I try very hard to avoid it at every turn. If I want to call it "madness", or "lunatic", or more correctly "evil", I shall do so.

      If you have a mental illness, and are offended by it, I suggest you stick to your own blog, and others like it.
