Sometimes You Just Have To Laugh At Them
"Pelosi, D-Calif., said the committee would hold hearings and recommend legislation on how to reduce greenhouse gases, primarily carbon dioxide generated by fossil fuels, that most scientists blame for a gradual warming of the earth's climate. "
Then again, you have to rue their new majority. Their antics are mostly nothing to be laughed at, like consorting with friends of the enemy. Check this out. Then there are those "outing" them:
"During last summer’s Israel-Hezbollah war, al-Husainy led rallies in Dearborn in support of the Lebanese terrorist group. Protesters displayed swastikas as well as anti-American and anti-Semitic posters.
I attended one rally, at Dearborn’s Bint Jebail Cultural Center - named for the stronghold in south Lebanon from which Hezbollah rockets rained on Israel. Al-Husainy was among several who delivered hate-filled, anti-American rhetoric. He cheered as others called for the hastened destruction of the Jews."
If we don't get a laugh out of them now and then, we'd lose our minds. Those who do not pay attention to what they are really doing is my biggest concern. Folks listen to the rhetoric and platitudes of Barack Obama who tells us he has "the most specific plans to get out of Iraq of any candidate". Yet they do not understand the scope (or lack thereof) of the man's experience. The bottom line is that they believe the dinosaur media...that, my friends, is the scariest fact yet! If the likes of Obama or Shrillary make it into office, I'm going to apply for a visa to Australia, where they seem to know what is really going on!
"Australian Prime Minister John Howard, a staunch Bush ally who has sent troops to Iraq and faces his own re-election bid later this year, said Obama's proposals would spell disaster for the Middle East.
"I think that will just encourage those who want to completely destabilize and destroy Iraq, and create chaos and a victory for the terrorists to hang on and hope for an Obama victory," Howard said on Nine Network television.
"If I were running al-Qaida in Iraq, I would put a circle around March 2008 and be praying as many times as possible for a victory, not only for Obama but also for the Democrats."
Mr. Howard illustrates how they are NOT funny when it counts!

DT, did you see that there's a serious effort underway to make a movie out of "Atlas Shrugged?" They want to cast Angelina Jolie as Dagney. Check it out at: http://observer.guardian.co.uk/world/story/0,,2000313,00.html
Unfortunately, the headline of this story announces the writer's liberal bias loud and clear.
