Obamaland? UPDATED!
Barack Obama is being touted as the heir-apparent to JFK. He's young. He's charismatic. It seems he's giving hope to Americans who have lost their hope for our government.
He's been given a 100% rating by the Americans for Democratic Action, NARAL, NOW, NAACP, and the NEA. The only culprits missing from this illustrious group is the AFL-CIO and AFSCME...but it's only a matter of time. Their leadership may already be committed to Shrillary, so they may be biding their time. The next two years are going to be very interesting.
Without any administrative experience, without any experience except his oh-so liberal voting record in Illinois and the US Senate, one must wonder what any salient, aware, and politically knowledgeable populace would consider the perceived leadership ability/talent of Barack Hussein Obama is scarcely reason for the euphoria in the media, let alone the political world.
Oh yeah, right. I forgot. We don't have very many salient, aware, and politically knowledgeable folks in our population. After all, during the worst ice storms in many years, this recently re-elected, first female house speaker bright bulb calls for a commission on global warming. If Pelosi had even half a brain, she'd have waited until summer to call for such a commission. So what's to stop America from becoming Obamaland? Good doggone question...sheesh!
Having rolled my eyes, I went to get the newest weather updates, and came up with this;
Just as soon as I stop laughing so hard I'm holding my stomach, I'll shoot off an e-mail to the brain-trust who is now our Speaker of the House. "San Fran Nan, what in holy h*ll were you thinking?"
This woman, and her current vaunted position is a symptom of the mindset that frightens me for the future of my country.

In the Malibu area, part of Kanan Dume Road remained closed Thursday morning as crews worked to clear snow from the roadway. Kanan Road was closed from Mulholland Highway to Triunfo Canyon Road, north of Malibu, says CHP Officer Francisco Villalobos. The roadway was open south of Mulholland Highway to Pacific Coast Highway."

Ogre, Rush read a statement of Obama's the other day saying he was a Christian....and admitted that his father was Muslim (past tense). Do you believe it's a ruse?
