A Christmas Puzzle

This story had me doing some mental gymnastics, a little Christmas puzzling over possibilities as it were;  George H. W. Bush, 41st President of the United States from 1989 to 1993, who was followed by William Jefferson Clinton, 42nd President of the United States from 1993 to 2001, who was followed by George W. Bush, 43rd President of the United States from  2001 to 2009....possibly (shudder....shake....gag....upchuck) followed by Shrillary Rodham-Clinton from 2009 to 2013, possibly followed by Jeb Bush?   Let's take this one bizarre step further, and feel free to answer this puzzle; would Chelsea Clinton be old enough to continue this utterly insane and upsetting scenario? Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton?  Part of me wants to say that the American people are smarter than that, but after the last election, I'm not so sure.  What say you?

I say that is a cute little thing to play with, just as long as it doesn't happen! (No, Chelsea (the girl who could do no smoking pot wrong) will not be old enough to run for president.) Wheh!

I'm so happy that my fleeting musing brought about the answer from those who would "do the math". It's not my strong suit, but thought it might be a fun holiday brain puzzle. As a fan of yours, I know I can trust your math! Thank you, my friend, for reassuring me somewhat! )

If I ever take this blogging thing too seriously, it could lose it's appeal as an outlet. Sometimes my late night thought processes are less clear than they could be, but then again this is not my "bread and butter" vocation... Yet? hmmmmm
