A New Kind Of Press Secretary
If you watched any coverage of the President's trip to Indonesia today, you might have seen what should be a surprising figure in the background; Press Secretary Tony Snow.
Now wait a minute! Isn't that the guy who normally hangs out at the White House and answers questions about what the President is doing while out of the country? Yet there he was, just to the left of the President of Indonesia.
My lament is, "Why....oh WHY, wasn't someone with Tony's communication ability hired by the Bush Administration earlier?" Had conservative communication been more present during the election, we would not be out of leadership!
GOP, are you listening?
I don't know Dagney, I think the congress and senate would have overloaded him regardless of how good he is. He can only talk so fast and you have to wonder at the fact that the two houses wouldn't stop with the scandals while he was trying to save them. You'll have to speak louder, they can't hear any better than the Dems.
