Paranoid?

Am I being paranoid?  Maybe?  Probably?  If so, that I am staying in a hotel that appears to be infested with Muslims, and I am totally spooked by the idea, in a port city on the gulf of Mexico would render me paranoid.  The fact that they are in a room directly across from me does not make tonight's "sleep" a sure thing.  I doubt that I have made many friends in the Muslim world on this blog, and most particularly in the realm of Islamofacists.  Though I count Omar and Mohammed at ITM among my friends is not making the night ahead any more comforting.  I do have my gun with me.  What good will that do me if they're of the suicidal group?

Sure wish I knew the language, since they are talking right outside my door.  I thought there were only 5, until I came through the lobby.  My gun is only a six shooter.

I could go out into the corridor, and make friendly.  They'd make friendly back at me.  Right?  Their reputation of "you can lie to the infidel (I'm wearing my cross proudly on my neck, so there's no question I'm an infidel in their eyes) with impunity" precedes them.

I've never been a prejudiced person, so I'm reduced to being a paranoid person.  It's not a good place to be.

Does it make sense to be afraid without knowing why? No. You know why. So do I. This is not paranoia. It is a sad shame that our country does not realize we are at war, and the other half isn't doing one tenth of what they should.

BTW, it would not be this way had the Muslims in America stood up with us on that day to sing God Bless America. I can understand their fear, but 5 years without a groundswell? This is unexceptable...

I learned this morning that they were Egyptian Naval personnel. They were all in uniform this morning.

It's a sad state of affairs that we're reduced to feeling this way!
