The Democrats think that Mr. Foley's outing just handed them their "October Surprise"!  I'd hate to be a cameraman in D.C. today!  I couldn't turn around without seeing Pelosi, Reid, et al, waiting to demand this or that sort of "investigation"! 

However, it's already beginning to backfire.  This morning on Fox News, Steve Doocy was asking a question a lot of folks are going to ask; what about.....? There are a litany of Donk scandals (Jefferson's cash in the freezer, Barney Frank's prostitution scandal...[hope you get a kick out of that link!], Koepechne's death, etc.) that follow, and then the question "Foley quit, they never did".  Or," where was the hue and cry"?  You get my drift

As to why, that is easy: Democrats have nothing to run on, so they are hoping that endlessly harping upon the moral failure of one Republican will carry the day for you. When you're reduced to Moore-onic conspiracy theories plus Howard Dean, your pickings are mightly slim, you see?"

Again, they have given the American people absolutely no reason to vote FOR them, and love it when they think they've found a reason for voters to vote AGAINST the GOP!  It must be tough to be them.
