"Within a half-hour, San Francisco police had cornered and arrested 29-year-old Omeed Aziz Popal, who has addresses in Ceres (Stanislaus County) and Fremont. "
That doesn't sound like a Spanish name, does it? Imagine that! Any questions?

But hey, the story repeats FOURTEEN times that it was an "SUV." And this particular article seems to have missed the fact that good, nice, friendly Omeed was in Afghanistan LAST WEEK.

Thankfully there are people like Drudge, you and countless others that aren't missing the point that the mainstream media wants to tip toe around.
Hell, they were probably pulling their hair out and self-flagellating over reporting on an obviously Hispanic Tropical Storm named Ernesto. They were sure to realize that it was just a hard working storm looking to gather a little strength in the warm waters off our coast.
On a new note...Al Gore is pontificating on the Music Video Awards (MajorTeen's watching the tube within an earshot...). Won't that has-been go away?

P.S. Yesterday when returning to home base I was singled out at the gate for the "special inspection." Some kid barely old enough to grow "chin pubes" went through my bag with his latex gloves on...the same ones he went through several others with. I refrained from asking him if he wore the gloves just to keep his hands clean or to prevent the spread of whatever from bag to bag...in addition to protecting him. I doubt that little slacker would have gotten me into the cuffs...but I do know my limits.
