60 Minutes Show KKK Behind White Debutants?
I saw it! Did you? On tonight's "60 Minutes" report about New Orleans, part of the report was about how "black" debutante events were cancelled....the suprising part was when they showed the photos of the "white" debutantes, there were hooded KKK guys behind them!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Am I the only one who saw that horrid sight? Talk about subliminal! Shame on you SeeBS!!! The spirit of Dan Blather is alive and well!
Yes I saw it. Some bloggers at 60 minutes said that maybe the pics were doctored. whether yes or no, wouldn't you think there'd be some sort of outrage from various civil rights leadrs? Why no comment from CBS? Guess it's wrong to have such pictures in this day and age but surely cbs would have said something? i mean, it's not like "was that alfred hitchcock in the background?" I need to check out the times-picayune site.

Andrew, you have just added to my sense of having retained rational thinking! I'd nearly decided that some sort of bizarre senility was setting! I know what I saw, but I was totally blown away by any other media source not recognizing it! I know that I sat there agape, and my hubby asking "WHAT???" I wanted to slap him for not having paid any attention!
