Judge Diggs Taylor Accused Of Possible Conflict

I posted a story about our lamentable feminization in America recently, and pointed out the judge who struck down the SEC surveillance of calls to and from al Qaeda.  Our local San Antonio Express News had a story today my hubby pointed out to me.  It won't be posted on their website until tomorrow, or late today, but I thought this story warranted an immediate blog airing.  Headline, "Judge who blocked domestic spying [their wording, though the program is not about that!] accused of possible conflict". [by James Rowley, Bloomberg]

"U. S. District Judge Anna Diggs Taylor is secretary and trustee of a private foundation that gave $45,000 to the American Civil Liberties Union's Michigan chapter, a plaintif in the lawsuit challengin the wiretap program, according to the foundation's website."

First off, anyone who belongs in any capacity to any group who gives money to the ACLUnatics is suspect in my book!

"Anne Weekley, a spokeswoman for the Community Foundation for Southeastern Michigan, said in an e-mail that Taylor is one of 50 board members who oversee decisions to make grants."

It's not bad enough that she endangers our security by ruling against efforts to keep us safe, but she's part of a group who gives grants to the likes of ACLUnatics?
