DoD Bureaucraps Screw Up Again

I heard Laura Ingraham interview Dan Senor recently.  She asked him point blank why the U.S. did not help Iraq officials rid themselves of Moqtada al Sadr?  After all, we know that an Iraqi judge had issued an arrest warrant for the monkey boy for the murder of a pro-American Shi'ia Imam.  According to Dan, it was proposed to the Department of Defense "higher ups" who refused to allow it to happen.  Back then, al Sadr had a loose-knit group of around 2,000.  Now he has over 10,000 supporters who decided to exercise their democratic rights to protest Israel in the streets of Baghdad today.  Granted, al Jazeera feeds Iraq a steady diet of anti-Israel baloney as noted by Iraq The Model.  The bottom line remains; some entrenched bureaucrap at the Pentagon, or more likely a group of them, refused to allow us to rid us of the menace known as al Sadr.  He went on to encourage and carry out death squads and terror all over Baghdad, and continues to do so!

You will hear all evening on every news outlet about the "protest" in Baghdad, but you really should check out the truth from someone who is there!

"According to this "senior official" we are supposed to think twice and be careful before tackling people like Sadr but my question is; if not now then when? Are we supposed to give them more time to grow more powerful and more popular?

We have seen some examples in recent history when crazy tyrants were not dealt with fast enough or powerfully enough whether by an external force or by their own people; putting an end to Saddam would've been easier if the decision was made in 1991 and dealing with Ahmedinejad immediately will be easier than to deal with him when he acquires nukes and disarming the Sadr militias would've been much more easier if the right decision was made two years ago.

After all, popularity polls do not necessarily reflect the truth and today's demonstration indicates that as well; see, instead of the million figure that Sadr was aspiring to see in Baghdad and out of supposedly 2 million Shia residents of Sadr city only 100 000 showed up and that's only after Sadr summoned demonstrators from the southern provinces and sent busses to fetch them and let's not forget that the demonstration took place in Sadr's own stronghold where it's supposed to take no effort from supporters to show up and march; technically they were asked to march in their own front yard."

I hope you'll go read the rest of it.  It certainly makes my point about the bureaucraps at DoD!  There are too many people who have trouble "Demonizing a Demon", as Omar puts it in his title.  If we, as Americans refuse to see the demons [Islamofacists!] for who they are, we lose!  The moonbats on the left refuse to see that there is anything to worry about with terrorists, or terrorism.  They'd prefer we just "live and let live", and they are dictating to the Democrats to stop supporting Israel, and get us out of Iraq.  While pundits predict the potential failure of Republicans to hold the majority come November, I just have to say again; I trust the wisdom of the American people to see the directions the donks are taking, and vote Republican in November.  Chastise them all you want on their fiscal irresponsibility, I've got reams of paper I've faxed to my GOP representatives about their forgetting who sent them to office, but in the short run, we cannot allow the cut-and-run Demorats take over ANY branch of government!  Our future depends on it.
