Tolerance vs. Intolerance, cont'd.
It's almost too easy to find examples of the "tolerant" left being intolerant, but I decided I'd spend some time and see how many, and what kind of examples I could find. This is one of the first examples I found;
"Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, presenting the report to the media in New York on Tuesday, said much of the report made "grim reading."
Now, on the face of it, it looks like she's figured it out, right? Sure, the article, and Ms. Half-bright note the awful treatment of the Falun Gong in China, but never was the intolerance for Christians in America mentioned.
This one takes the cake! Timothy Gay's rant against Republicans who want to preserve marriage as being between a man and a woman is especially shallow and clueless;
"There are a lot of Republicans troubled by their party's exploitation of contemporary know-nothingism. You know who you are. And before your party's degeneracy is complete, you ought to do something about it. Because camouflaging the fear and loathing of gay people as "moral values" isn't the base alloy of hypocrisy. It's hypocrisy itself."
I know a ton of Republicans, and I cannot think of one who has a "fear and loathing of gay people". Many, if not most, have friends or family who are gay. We do not fear, nor loathe them. In addition, most have absolutely no problem with gay people having some sort of formal contractual union. Just as long as it is not marriage! Considering my previous post, his assertions are not only specious, but ridiculously intolerant of conservative values.
While the left strives to remove any hint of "God" in our country, they are teaching "tolerance" in California by introducing studies of Islam in class cirriculums. Remember Jihad Johnny? Where was he educated?
"Lemings says there was prayer to Allah in the class. Other news reports have said that the children were required to pray “in the name of Allah the Compassionate the Merciful" and to stage their own Jihad. Nancie Castro, the principle at the middle school, denies the children were taught to pray or that any of the children was required to participate in the cultural activities of wearing Middle-Eastern clothing or choosing a Moslem name. She told the Contra Costa Times that wearing the clothing was something offered for extra credit."
Extra credit? Where are the women's lib groups? They think women should wear Hijab? Oh yeah, right. They haven't even given America credit for freeing 25 million women in ME, have they?
For Democrats to claim "tolerance" as a part of their belief system is easily disproven. I may have to start a collection of the hypocrisy of their assertions. If you know of any, feel free to add them to comments. This could be a fun exercise!

Good grief. You don't have enough room!
1. Hispanic lt. gov. uses the 'n' word in front of a group of black people. Punishment? None.
2. What's his name makes a parting comment to his friend in the senate, and he loses his majority seat. (I was happy about, though, but for different reasons.)
3. Black man uses the word 'nigardly', and loses his job. Can we blame the education system? NO! Of course not.
4. 9/11 commission tries to tear a new one into Condi. Where were the women's group? Where was the NNAACP? Nowhere to be found.
5. Newman tries to get the pledge of allegience thrown out of school, and he doesn't even standing! He never married the mother, and his daughter is a Christian.
6. We try to stand up for our sovereignty, and we get attacked by mexicans and the left as racists. Do they understand what the name La Rasa means? THE RACE!
7. we want to control women's behavior by protecting the life of the unborn. Huh? Read the declaration of independence!
8. the fouders were deists. Oh yeah? Read George Washington's prayers, the prayers to JESUS CHRIST during the writing of the declaration, and explain the REVEREND John Witherspoon that he was a deist!
9. etc, etc, etc.

2. Throws Charles Taylor, the warlord, out of Liberia, a place where the freed slaves began their home, and what does the world say? Nothing, as if we have to do the bidding of everybody.
