Hang On To Your Hats!

Ronnie Earle and Nancy Pelosi are probably gnashing their teeth, but me?  I am doing the Happy Dance!  Hang on to your sombreros, folks, it's going to get bumpy from here to November...depending on a court decision

"If it isn't overturned, Katy bar the door!" says a G.O.P. official. "Guess he'll have to fire up the engines on the campaign and let 'er rip."

DeLay, awaiting trial for money laundering, never intended to fade away. He plans to give paid speeches and has signed a deal to have his bio penned by best-selling author Stephen Mansfield. But to run, DeLay would have to raise money fast: his campaign fund has well under $1 million left. At least he knows his would-be opponent well: ex-Congressman Nick Lampson's original district was eliminated in a redistricting engineered by DeLay. "

Time's headline says it all, they want this to be impossible, and they predict he'll have to scramble for funds.  Phooey!  This man was a threat to them because he was effective, he got things done!  They want to believe he won't be able to raise sufficient funds to be successful.  With the release of this story, I guarantee you that checkbooks will be coming out...including ours.

The reason I adore this man is that he uses the same tactics the Dumocraps have used against the GOP for decades...they, of course, say he's corrupt.  They recognize their dominant characteristic in him?  Perhaps, but it has more to do with the fact that unlike most of the GOP, he fights back.  For too many years, Republicans have taken the "high road", and the donks have been effectively running rough shod over them!  Tom DeLay does not allow it to happen, and I wish he'd give lessons to his GOP colleagues.

As my husband commented, "The Democrats may regret their actions against him!"

The God of our Fathers is with us! I've been watching this, and I'm loving it. We no longer have to beg him to stay. The courts are doing that for us! This is one "Unbelievable!" that I can truly live with.
