    Dagney...

I have to say, I'm quite surprised by what's going down in Colorado. It has nothing at all to do with the state, but rather the state of academia. I'm happy to see that there's still some integrity in the education profession, but I'm really starting to wonder if that whole system might be headed around the bend.

Rush, after having some fun at his own expense with the Viagra fiasco, was talking about the National Association for Playground Safety yesterday. He was adding childhood activities that some schools have placed on a VERBOTEN list. If you can believe it, "tag" now joins dodgeball, swings, and teeter totters on the endangered list.

If people are so concerned about childhood obesity...then they might just want to get the little creatures off their pudgy little butts and allow them to be kids. This might not be so well directed against educators, but parents that are money grubbing greedy things that see a busted arm on a playground as a winning lottery ticket.

My body's covered with scars from the scrapes and my bones (not too many) would show previous traumas...all thanks to a normal childhood. Sometimes you need to break something, even if it's only the skin, to learn something important.

See you on the high ground!

Major, between the Nanny-state and personal injury lawyers, it's a wonder our country resembles anything it ever was when you and I were kids! In too many ways, it's become something foreign to the traditional American dream!
